AION has announced two more models for the UK, using the October 2026 Paris Motor Show to introduce the UT Cross and GS7. Both are due in 2027, broadening the young British range beyond its existing electric hatchback and SUV.

The UT Cross builds on the regular UT with a 20mm higher ride height, protective lower-body trim and roof rails. AION quotes a 440-litre boot, while saying final UK pricing and specifications will be announced before the planned early-2027 launch.

What it means for readers

The GS7 is the more significant powertrain change. AION describes a five-seat SUV with hybrid and plug-in hybrid plans for the UK, moving the range beyond fully electric cars. It is important to wait for the British specification rather than assuming that equipment or range from an overseas model will carry over unchanged.

For buyers, the two announcements address different needs: a compact electric crossover and a larger SUV with petrol assistance. Charging access, passenger space and the eventual price will decide which makes sense. Neither announcement is a reason to delay an urgent purchase without checking delivery timing; both are future additions to a range that is still developing.
